Making Fleece from Recycled Polyester for 30 Years
欧博会员入口 began making recycled polyester from plastic soda bottles in 1993鈥攖he first outdoor clothing retailer to transform trash into fleece. By reducing the amount of virgin polyester in many of our products, and replacing it entirely with recycled polyester in some, we reduce our need for petroleum to make raw materials and help cut landfill and incinerator waste. In Fall 2023, over half of our women鈥檚 fleece jackets and other fleece styles are made of 100% recycled polyester fleece. And 90% of our fleece styles鈥攇loves are one exception鈥攁re made in Fair Trade Certified鈩� factories, which means the people who make these garments earn a premium for their labor.
